Its hardwearing, and provides a load bearing stable layer and a flat surface prior to a top coating of asphalt, concrete, shingle or block paving. The fine mixture also ensures minimal voids in the sublayer when compacted with excellent load bearing properties
For a product to be classed as Type 1, it must comply with the Department of Transport Specifications of Highway Works.
